This story began in 1962, when my father, Juan Carlos, at the age of 16, went to work as an apprentice at the Heraclio Fournier Playing Card factory.
My father was fascinated, from the first second, by the beautiful playing cards that were made.
At that very moment, he began collecting them.
He dedicated 40 years of his life to this company. In the beginning, he learned everything related to Printing and Monotype. Later entering the methods and times office, which he directed over the years. And he ended up taking charge of the Technical Office.
In 2002, my father stopped working at the Heraclio Fournier Playing Cards factory and together with my mother, they settled in Oropesa del Mar.
Thus starting a new project: the Playing Card Museum.
In 2005, I joined this project, taking charge, among other things, of online sales.
Currently our collection amounts to more than 16,000 collectible decks from around the world and we have more than 4,500 different references for sale.
